About The Role
AXYS is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Sales Trader to join our Stockbroking team. This is a leadership role responsible for driving significant revenue growth by developing and maintaining a strong client base, providing expert investment advice, and executing trades with a focus on best execution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets and a proactive approach to client service and team mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team in developing and growing a client base to generate revenue and increase market share.
- Provide timely, proactive investment advice and recommendations to clients, handling complex, high-value accounts.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to inform trading decisions and communicate daily information to stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach junior traders and sales staff.
- Monitor local and foreign stock market performance.
- Manage client orders and ensure a high fill rate.
- Guide clients through the entire trade and settlement cycle, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Actively market new products and services to existing and potential clients.
Qualifications
- A financial degree is required. An ACI Dealing certificate is a plus.
- A minimum of five years of experience as a Trader or Sales Trader.
