About The Role
AXYS Stockbroking is seeking a driven Junior Sales Trader to support our senior team. This is an entry-level position where you will be a vital link between our clients and the financial markets. You’ll gain hands-on experience in client engagement, market analysis, and trade execution. Your success will be built on your analytical skills, communication abilities, and commitment to adhering to all financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management: Build and maintain client relationships by handling inquiries, providing market updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Market Analysis & Execution: Stay informed on market movements, communicate trading ideas to clients, and assist in executing client orders on the SEM and international markets.
- Business Development: Support senior staff by researching new clients and preparing pitches and presentations.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate documentation of all trades and client communications and strictly adhere to all relevant financial regulations (FSC, SEM, AML/CFT) and internal policies.
- Professional Development: Continuously learn about financial products, trading strategies, and the evolving regulatory landscape.
Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: This is an entry-level role, though an internship or 6-12 months of experience in financial services is a distinct advantage.
- Certifications: A strong commitment to obtaining relevant financial licenses (e.g., CISI qualifications) is required within a specified timeframe.
- Interests: A strong passion for financial markets and a desire to build a long-term career in sales trading and broking.
